Falkirk & District Community Safety Panel is a voluntary group of people from all walks of life and business who are committed to pursuing traditional and new ideas to make Falkirk a safer place to work and live. These people give their time and service voluntarily, seeking sponsors and sources to achieve their aims.
We meet approximately every six weeks where matters concerning Community and personal safety are raised and any new ideas submitted for discussion. If you have an idea, why not contact us, and ask when the next meeting is.

Falkirk & District Community Safety Panel is a charity registered in Scotland No. SCO26075.
What we do:
The Community Safety Panel has over past years produced and promoted all kind of ideas in use throughout Falkirk. Amongst many others, these have included the very successful “Child Safe Link” project, designed to teach children, parents and retailers what is required of them in a “Lost Child” situation. This has been adopted by many Police forces throughout Britain.
Promoted car, bike and garden shed security in and around Falkirk with flyers reminding people of the fact that thieves see them as easy targets containing easily disposable items.
From the Grants that the Panel receive they have managed to purchase small items such as personal attack alarms and electrical timers, door stops and other security items for distribution to the elderly or people who are likely to be victims of crime because of their circumstances.
The Panel has also provided mobile telephones to Womens Aid groups as a temporary security measure, allowing them to contact the Police should they be followed or approached by a partner with a history of violence.
